I still buy DVDs (as much as ever) even though I own a Blu-ray player (PS3). I'm just real picky about the blu-ray discs I get, especially since they're so bloody expensive. I just happened to find The Shining on sale at Best Buy, and it was actually cheaper than the DVD. Same with Donnie Darko and Silence of the Lambs (which actually came in a 2-pack). So see, in a way I only half sold out. I'm still all rebel and cool, right?...right..?

Sure... but you watched S. Darko... that is an action which I cannot forgive. Even though I might have to see it someday myself... but I haven't yet!

It's funny.Around here not alot of people buy blu-ray so now the local Wal-Marts have older blu-rays in a bin for $10.There just aren't that many movies on blu that I even want and the ones I do want I already own on dvd.Most of the shit I want isn't even on dvd yet.!

the only reason why I want a blu ray player is to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey - but I have it on dvd so Im not rushing out to buy one
